ATTENTION ALL - ROOKJE

Hi All, just to let you know that Rookje's husband, Gerard, is critically ill in hospital. He has fluid in his heart, and his heart is only working at about 20%. Please everyone, Rookje needs ALL OUR PRAYERS right now. She is exhausted, and worried. She sends her love, but says that she just can't think in English right now to tell you herself or answer emails. She is a true honey, and a true friend. The Wookie is Back!!!!

Well ladies, what can I say, the Wookie is back (at last) lol. As some of you know I was not well for quite some time and then left for a 6 week trip to Europe, covering England, Germany, Switzerland and Denmark, with my daughter and a friend of hers. We had a fantastic time ..... but two of the highlights for me were meeting two friends I had made on Stitch Chat, Hazel in England and Rookje in Holland.

Misssing Wookie

Hi everyone
thanks for the kind mails I received

Have not been well, so no-one offended me!!! I think I probably overdid it when Hubby was off injured earlier in the year, and so have had a mini stress breakdown! Will get back on track soon, I hope, but for now I'm not really up to being my usual cheerful self lol. Have popped in once or twice, but just don't seem to be able to concentrate lately.

I'll be back, I promise ..... you lot just keep stitching and having fun!!

Hope you are well. All is going fine this side. I know I'm being a pain, but where in Cape Town can I purchase bobbin thread/cotton for my Brother embroidery machine? I got a reel with my machine but I've used 90% of it and need to replace it so that I can carry on with my "flags". I order the 61 Brother cottons from the Desighbysick web site. I received them within 14 days. It worked out much cheaper than buying them here in S.A. I don't mind travelling to the southern suburbs to purchase the thread. Many thanks. Kind regards Sandy
