I'm Theoldripnstitch said… - ok...yes I got the new one home and her name is "diamond LIL"...finally got the software installed...what a wonderful time that was..lol..nothing ever goes smooth..(if it does i was dreaming about it in my sleep then woke up)...LOL..anyway BIG BERTHA loves her...so doesn't "sassy(SE)"..i'm heading off to bed..let all the NEW knowledge sink in...LOL.OH the blankie prts are from "black cat creations" BUt I bought mine in a fabric shop...make sure you get the package that has the cd-rom in it or honey you will be doin all that by hand..ick..sorry to ramble..lol

- Phyllis, what makes Bertha so nice is that you can load the first few needles with the primary colors and the use the rest of them to use for whatever design you are going to work on...is is mighy great..i do have a peoblem hooping it because of my arms...BUT I love it for big projects...I'm NOT sorry I bought it either...my DH just wanted me to have this new one since I retired last year..I didn't sew much when I first retired...to depressed I guess.HA, I'm over that and ready to sew...like I said..it is just a hobby, I'm not one for pressure..LOL

- hey Phyllis, I love the "Happy" BUT it is very hard for me to hoop,I have a problem with my arms(that's why I had to retire from doing hair for 40yrs.) I like my vikings Because I can use sticky stabilizer...BUT I do use "BIG BERTHA" on big projects,like fleece throws,bags,dog blankets...etc..It's to bad I'm not in business...lol... I'm set up for it...NO MORE pressure for me...just for fun...lol
