hi there cinders how are you doing ... we are fairing well here glad you almost have it done ken is recovering from quadruple by-pass- surgery and we are lucky to have him here the doc stated he would not have survived til the morning his surgery was february 18th and have jsut returned from his office he is doing great now for the 2 month cardiac rehab fun fun fun! he is not real keen on this new diet but he has lost 20 pounds in 1 month eating 3 means a day and snacks soooooo he is not starving also his blood pressure went from 189/90 to 123/81 so that is super he is feeling better all around and beginning to be his old grumpy(LOL!) self take care tc

I have only had the embroidery machine for a short time, but I have been sewing for a living for over 17 years and sewing in general for over 40..I have an industrial sewing machine& serger, I have a home sewing machine and 2 home sergers, and a coverlock that is industrial..too fast so thinking about selling it..

I had been given the cross stitch design from a friend. So first I checked number of squares I needed across and length wise. After I opened Cross stitch to create from no picture. I then followed grid and manually put in the design. It took me approximately 2 weeks to complete. I did have to split design in order to stitch out the design. I did this in the cross stitch and then added an extra line length wise making it very easy to match when I stitched them out. It took 2 days to stitch out due to me having to go to work. This was the second one I did like this. The first was a wedding design which I wish I had the picture of. That one took me longer because it took me a while to figure out the best way to do the design and stitch it out correctly. I did this basically all on my own. You are right, they need better instructors to teach. I now have 4D Professional and I purchased the simply teach me series volume 3 because I wanted to learn about the diditizing. That was very helpful. I know they have 3 volumns. I only got the one. But I think you would benefit greatly from it if you have 4D Professional software.
