trouble using usb port on innovis 2500D

no matter what I try...I cannot transfer designs to my machine using a usb stick. I always have to put the stick into my lap top and then move the designs over using the cord.

"Okay, I found a similar thread on the sewforum. Someone else had the same problem you are going through. She found out it was the USB stick. It needs to be no larger than 2 gb, and the brand that worked for her was Scandisk.

"Sometimes, but it seems to happen only on dense designs. Those cutting blades do get dull, though, and need to be replaced if it happens a lot."
"Lynn, if you got the machine from a local dealer, you might want to go in and ask them to show you how to import designs. The 2500D should have come with free classes.

"Your machine does have two USB ports which you can hook up to machine or USB stick. One port may be for the machine, the other for the stick. Are you using the correct port?
