I just retired two years ago and have always love sewing and crafting. As a retirement gift I bought myself a Bernina artista 730 embriodery machine. We live in a multiply generation home with our daughter in a wing that we have been doing for the last year. Want to do a quilt someday soon.
Aren't the roses fun to make? I have made several colors. I wear them to Church a lot. I also have a pansy pattern. Not quite the same, it takes and shows more thread. But they are three D. I bought them from Elsa , from Bernina digitizing. They were expensive, but worth it. As soon as I get some done, I will post a pic.
Hi Ethel......love the smocking....haven't done any for ages. I enjoyed browsing your photos of your lovely projects and thought you did a wonderful job of the chairs....very talented.
Thankyou for sharing.
Ethel - stitch chat - I found it - at the bottom of the page there should be in the bottom right hand corner a green or red light with a bowling pin or a man besie it with a slanted arrow with a line above it - and in the centre there is "stitch chat (5 members online) click right there and you are in the room - hope it works
Ethel, It looked like you left a message on the chat page and never got into the chat room. There are little designs at the bottom right corner of the end of the page - an arrow with a line over it and a shape with a colored dot next to it. Those are the "buttons" to click on to get into the chat room. When the dot is red you are not in. When you click on it to make it green, you are in. The arrows will bring the chat "room" up or down...... does this make sense??? We still can chat like before. It is just a little more confusing to get into the chat room.
