Hi Mary, happy to meet you.
It is fun having friends that share our embroidery interests, isn't it?
I'm hoping to be down you way in two weeks, West Palm Beach actually.
Any good embroidery stores I should know about? LOL
I belong to a machine embroidery club at the local sewing store, but it is only 2 hours every two months, definitely not often enough for me!

Hello! Joined stitchin chat a few weeks ago. Found a fellow embroiderer who lives about an hour from me. I have a ce 200. Been making a lot of FSL ornaments. Got a Christmas project for my 5 g-kids to start on. Making hooded bath towels and emb. desgns on them. I belong to a local embroidery club here in Okeechobee, Fl. We call ourselves "Fancy ME" ( machine embroidery). There are four regulars and we have had up to 7-8 at times. More when our northerners come back. We have a great time sharing ideas and helpful hints. Mary

Welcome Crystal, you were asking about not getting the bobbin thread up?
I've had this happen a couple of times and each time it has been that the bobbin thread was not correctly coming out of the bobbin and up through that little slit.
The other thing is, check for lint or fluff. Silly as it sounds, lint and fluff can cause terrible hiccups, especially if everything else is not "just so".
You could also try removing the stitch plate (with the little flat screwdriver) and check that the bobbin housing is seated correctly.
I hope this helps.

Its the hoop it all L hoop .... single size, it is for the Futura, I know about magnets and Computerized things, so would not concider the mag hoop...
Having researched the Hoop it all on line , I dont think it will do what I need.... it is like a bed to move your hoop around on rather then an actual hoop per say to design on . The sewing field on it is just 4.50x20.50 so more for borders. I would appreciate what Your dealer says on the hoop it all hoop Margaret. Hugs .

Hi Jan, I don't have any other hoops than the two that came with my CE350, however I did go to the hoopitall.com site.
I see they have about half a dozen different hoops. Which one were you specifically interested in?
I've asked Ruth, my Singer representative, about the magna hoop before, and they say the magnets adversly affect the sensors in the Futura and will invalidate the warranty, but these don't seem to have any magents.
If you say which one you are interested in I can ask Ruth about it.

Hi Jan, and thank you for joining the Futura group, I'm so happy to meet you.
You are absolutely right about being able to add fonts to your PC that can then be used by the Hyperfonts software.

About 2 days after I bought the Hyperfonts I went on eBay and purchased a CD of 2,000 True Type fonts, so yes, I have a huge choice now!

I agree that you really have to stitch out a font before you go ahead and use it on something that can't be replaced!

Some fonts work much better than others, I've found that even the plainer fonts can look really funky when used with variagated thread too.

You can take a look at my aprons that I have posted on stitchchat, I have tagged them as birthday aprons.

Hi My name is Jan and I own a futura 150 with all the soft ware, and absolutly love it , when it is not in the shop lol . Margaret do you know you can add fonts to your windows fonts and they come up on Hyperfonts so there is no end to the amount of fonts you can now access with this . You need to stitch them out first as some fonts are more embroidery friendly then others ...
