Which stabilzer is the best when you are using Tshirts, lightweight canvas, towels or whatever? Like what weight and kind do you use more of and why? I'm not like the cut away to much as I guess mine is too thick. Which is your favorite for most things? I think that's one reason I'm having a hard time starting back as I don't like the back of it.

Sew Queen gave me loads of advice on the stabilizer. With T shirts using iron on mesh .... two sheets, one one direction, the other the other direction. If it is a thick design I also slip a piece of tear away under it. With the Jacket I did for my granddaughter Bailey, I used the iron on mesh and with it being a thick design I used a piece of cut away under it also. Towels I use tear away under and the clear wws over the top. Make sure you use the stuff on top because you will have a mess if you don't. Cut away can be hooped and the item you are embroidering basted down or glued down with a spray basting adhesive or if you hoop the item slip it under the hoop before starting to sew.

My favorites are towels, I love doing towels. Free standing lace I think is the easiest to do.
